SAP HR Developer

Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal
We are looking for an experienced SAP HR ABAP Developer for an ad hoc contract position. Ideally based in KZN, but there is a possibility of remote work from any location within South Africa.

Job Purpose
To implement the detailed design and/or configuration of the business processes and to provide practical troubleshooting resolution throughout the business to update/adapt the relevant procedures, in line with the business strategy.
Job Responsibilities
  • Developing in SAP HR, and other SAP modules
  • Integration with SAP and third-party application
  • SAP Support
Qualifications and Experience Level
  • Grade 12
  • Diplomas / Degree in IT
  • ABAP Certification (prerequisite)
  • Experience in SAP HR development (including logical databases, macros, info-types, clusters, etc.)
  • Experience in developing in MM, FI, SD, etc will be advantageous
  • 4 – 5 years ABAP experience
Type of Exposure
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships
  • Business analyst and/or project management experience advantageous
  • IT practices and Industry Knowledge
  • Collaboration across functional areas
  • SDLC experience and Agile experience advantageous
  • Expertise with SAP ABAP HR development including HR Renewal
  • Experience in ABAP Object Oriented Programming, WebDynpro, ALE, IDOC, BADI, BAPI and OData
  • Extensive application support background, with experience in managing priorities and workloads and coordinating the resolution
  • Knowledge of SAP support methodologies and tools
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent in documenting specification and technical solutions
